They might be 1/2 way to a hundred, but only try keeping up to with these two if you feel the need for pain. Heather and Duncan searching for the hurt. Knox Mountain, Kelowna, B.C.

Jeff Jones Cycle – Privateer Magazine

There is nothing better than having an editor say, “Do what you think is best”. Especially when that editor happens to be Andy Waterman at Privateer…the most well thought out and beautifully packaged bike magazine available on the market at present. Issue number 17 dropped earlier in the week with this feature I shot and produced on Jeff Jones Cycle. Jeff is based in Medford, Oregon and has a perfectly balanced but unusual outlook and approach to design and life. His welds are some the most beautiful I have ever witnessed on bikes that are the most unique I have ever ridden. He might have a beard and live in a split log cabin but his approach to life away from his welding torch is anything but slow and organic. Flat out comes to mind. Whether riding his bike or behind the wheel of his race-tuned VW camper, he lives life in the fast lane. I was seriously worried this shoot wouldn’t end without injury…thankfully we wrapped it up all in one piece. Here is an excerpt from our time together and thank you Jeff for you and your families hospitality!

This is my Auntie…

…and she will kick your ass. At running. At biking. At swimming. And at most everything else.

Spirit Of The 70′s Triumph 675 Daytona Custom

Tim and Kevin at SpiritOfThe70s have put some amazing motorcycles on the road over the past two years and their latest offering has raised the bar yet again. I made a whirlwind trip to England last month and we hooked up to shoot this and a couple other bikes they have in the pipeline. Just waiting for them to deliver mine next….. BikeEXIF has posted a breakdown of the build along with a few more pictures.
